I was browsing my Flickr photostream and my eye was caught by some photos I took last June, on my way to the ALA conference in D.C. While the classic train stations are very grand, they are also glorious expanses with plenty of scope for imaginative use.

I found a link to your site through another design thinking blog. Definitely a worthwhile project! I’m an Atlanta area teacher, so I thought I’d get involved. Here is a link to a presentation I put together using Prezi. This was inspired by not one particular tag line. Rather, I tried to incorporate several. The basic idea is that we will have an increasingly difficult time sorting through the ever expanding stacks of digital and print media. To help us sort through all of this and “find our way”, we will need to reconcile the expertise of librarians along with the delivery of digital media and design of brick and mortar libraries.
Keep up the good work!

Hard to capture all that the library represents, but I gave it a try!

I loved the presentations people created for this. Could it be extended a few days so that more can participate? Also I thought submission was maybe a little confusing, at least it took me a few minutes to figure out that I needed to leave a reply on the discussion thread to submit. Might be nice if there was a big “submit” button at the top of the page people could see easily. It could just redirect them to posting a reply.
